    Please find attached the programme for the Next Technology Forum, taking place on the 30th January 2020 at the Village Hotel in Kingswells, Aberdeen.

    The forum runs from 9.30am till 2.00pm, with 5 presentations and a chance to input on your thoughts for the topics we should cover for the remainder of Phase 9.

Technology Awareness Session - hosted by NOV

NOV to host an open day at their Montrose manufacturing and Service facility. The presentations will be focussed on the challenges which solids cause to the topside production process and importantly open discussions around the approaches taken to understand, mitigate and handle these issues and what technologies are available to do so.

During the visit there will be a tour of the manufacturing workshops, demonstration of NOV’s solids handling technology and potentially a close-up viewing of a North Sea sand handling system.

SMN members - free to attend, non members £25 plus VAT for attendance.  Note that numbers are limited to 20, two sessions will be run if demand is there.
