‘Innovative Technologies and case studies that drive value and performance’
Pre Conference Workshop
27th March 2018, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre
The workshop will provide drilling, completion, integrity and production engineers with an excellent overview of sand management, and enable them to understand the role of engineers out with their discipline. Asset managers who are new to sand-producing fields or who want a refresher on sand management technology and practices would also find this workshop very valuable. There will be some emphasis on issues with drilling fluid design for sand control completions.
The workshop includes a brief non-technical session posing a light-hearted challenge to some of the day-to-day assumptions we make, to encourage fresh thinking.
Full Conference and Exhibition
28th & 29th March 2018, Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre
We invite you to participate in this specialist continuing education event to share knowledge and help drive forward and develop industry best practice.
We will continue to build on the success of preceding conferences to provide a unique platform for operators, service companies and academics to share knowledge and to help drive forward and develop industry best practice.
The two-day conference will feature presentations from leading operators and service companies in the sector, particularly focusing on driving value and performance in the industry.
Open to: Public
At our last Technical Forum we focussed specifically on Downhole systems designed to deliver effective sand control in ever more challenging environments and how these systems have evolved over the past two decades.
For the next Technical Forum the theme will be Topside Monitoring and Sand Production Management and we would like to hear and discuss subject matter such as topside design considerations, well operating limitations, equipment installation limitations, data management and interpretation and or case histories that details strategies to deliver effective long term life of well sand management while maintaining optimum production.
Specific areas of interest include:
- Holistic strategy implementation for sand management
- Sand production monitoring and KPIs for successful sand control
- Methodologies, lessons learnt and best practices for evaluating sand management strategy
- Topside sand control techniques and monitoring
- Topside sand handling techniques - safe and environmentally sustainable sand disposal
- New technologies for top sides sand management and sand handling
- Well optimization techniques – data acquisition and monitoring
